Fort Duyong

Duyong Fort (Kota Duyong)
at Pulau Duyong is an old fort that looks like a traditional Malay palace, but the design of pillars and walls also have a strong influence of Corinth and Egypt, the production of a unique and attractive. It has nine roofs cover several inter-connected parts of the building as the kitchen, bathroom, veranda and a small bridge. Trajectories of sculptures on the porch gives the meaning and construction of the appearance of several types of traditional Terengganu Malay houses known as "Bujang Berepeleh", "Limau Bungkus and Potong Country." Pulau Duyong is by the sea and about seven kilometers from downtown Kuala Terengganu.
